I Run for Peace. I Run for Ukraine.

Run for Peace is a virtual and physical 5km walk/run taking place in the nation’s capital in June 2022 to support Ukrainian families suffering from the trauma of the war that Russia has inflicted on them. Funds raised from this event (a voluntary $50 registration fee is suggested) will go directly to fund the transport of Ukrainian children, women and others who are trapped at the Ukraine/Polish border with nowhere to go.

Registrants will receive a race number, a T-shirt designed by Ukrainian children whom we have transported to safety.

To participate, please fill out the form below. Please know that we will not share your data with any outside party, but we will send you occasional updates on our work. All t-shirts are unisex.

May 9 is when Russia marks one of its most important national holidays, Victory Day -- the anniversary of Germany's surrender at the end of World War II. Victory Day is all about military muscle. On May 9, Putin almost certainly will stand in Red Square, reviewing the troops -- however many the military can spare in the middle of a war. And Russians will pretend all is well on the Western front.

We are organizing a 5km Walk-Run for Peace in the nation’s capital to counteract the “feast in the time of plague” Victory parade in Russia. While Putin’s troops will be saber-rattling on Red Square, join us to walk the streets of Washington DC to support Peace in Ukraine.

Are you ready to help?

Donations of any kind will help change the life of women and children fleeing Ukraine.
